The Crest & Your Heritage
A Symbol
Worth Bearing
Where historical heraldry exists, we present a stylised interpretation that honors its tradition and the lineage it represents.
Where it does not, we design a new crest — one that reflects the dignity and character your name deserves.
Alongside your bottle, you will receive a brief written history explaining the symbolism, meaning, and heritage behind your crest — allowing the gift to be opened with understanding as well as delight.

Our Story
Our Story
A Family Venture, In Every Sense
Family Estates Wines began not as a corporation, but as a family idea. Founded by a father and uncle and carried forward by his children and nephew, our business reflects the very values we celebrate: heritage, lineage, and the quiet pride of belonging to something larger than oneself.
Blending English tradition with American warmth, we set out to create a product that honoured the family name in a way that felt dignified, personal, and enduring.
Every bottle we produce is a continuation of that original belief: that names matter, and the stories behind them matter even more.

Everything You
Need to Know
Is my crest historically exact?
Our crests are stylised interpretations inspired by historical heraldry and family name symbolism. They are designed to honor tradition while maintaining elegance and consistency across our collection.
Can I modify my crest design?
At present, each crest is a definitive design for your last name and is not subject to revision. This ensures clarity, consistency, and a timeless identity for your family symbol.
Can I include a personalised message?
Yes. You may include a personal note to be delivered with your bottle, making it an even more thoughtful and meaningful gift.
Do you offer gift packaging?
Standard refined packaging is included with every bottle. A premium engraved wooden presentation box is available as an upgrade.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery timeframes are listed on each product page. Please note that in the US we may occasionally delay delivery to avoid extreme weather conditions en route — both freezing temperatures and extreme heat can affect wine in transit. We'll always keep you informed.
Where are the wines sourced from?
Full sourcing details, including region and producer information, are available on each individual product page.
How many family crests do you have?
We currently have over a hundred family crests in our collection, covering many of the most common last names across Britain and America. If your last name is not yet available, you can join our waiting list and we will notify you when your crest is ready — usually within a week.
